Day 16: FAMILY GOOD NEWS

 








Theme: Declaring and receiving good news for your family.

Opening Prayer:
“Lord, I thank You for Your promises over my family. Today, I declare that good news is coming to my household. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with faith and expectation as I stand on Your Word.”

Devotional Thought:
"God is in the business of bringing good news to families. Throughout Scripture, He fulfills His promises to households, from Abraham’s covenant to Sarah’s miraculous childbirth. Isaiah 49:16 reminds us that our families are engraved in the palm of God’s hands—He never forgets us. No matter what your family is facing, believe that God’s good news is on the way!"

Gather with your family or write their names in a journal. Pray over each name, declaring God’s promises of good news, joy, and breakthrough over them.

Reflection Prompt:

  1. What good news are you believing for in your family?

  2. How have you seen God’s faithfulness in your family’s past?

  3. How can you actively build faith and unity in your household?

Guided Visualization:
Close your eyes and picture Jesus standing at your family’s doorstep with a letter in His hand. The letter reads: “Good News is Here.” Imagine the joy and peace filling your home as you receive His blessings.

Journal Prompt:

  • Write a letter to God, thanking Him in advance for the good news He is bringing to your family.

Declaration:
“My family is blessed! Good news is coming to my household. God’s promises are yes and amen!”

Worship Suggestion:

  • Listen to "Goodness of God" by Bethel Music. Let the song remind you of God’s faithfulness in your family’s journey.

Closing Prayer:
“Thank You, Lord, for the good news that is coming to my family. I stand in faith, believing that You are working all things for our good. Holy Spirit, strengthen our hearts as we wait in expectation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Let Your favor rest upon me, and may the works of my hands bring glory to Your name.” Devotional Thought: "God desires to bless the works of our hands and prosper us in all that we do. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 outlines the blessings that come with obedience to God’s commands. When we commit our work to Him, we can trust that He will establish and bless it."
