Day 21: MY JOY IS FULL

Theme: Walking in the fullness of joy that comes from the Lord.

Opening Prayer:
“Lord, I thank You for the joy that comes from Your presence. Today, I receive Your fullness of joy, and I declare that nothing will steal my joy. Holy Spirit, fill me with Your peace.”

Devotional Thought:
"God’s plan is for us to walk in joy, not just happiness that depends on circumstances, but deep, lasting joy. Psalm 30 reminds us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel 1 shows us that waiting seasons lead to testimonies. As we conclude this fast, walk with confidence that your joy is full in Christ."

Scripture:

  • Psalm 30 – Joy comes in the morning.

  • Isaiah 2 – The mountain of the Lord will be established.

  • 1 Samuel 1:1-20 – Hannah’s sorrow turns into joy.

  • Luke 15 – The joy of restoration in the parables of the lost sheep, coin, and son.

Activity:
Write a gratitude list, reflecting on how God has been faithful during this fast.

Reflection Prompt:

  1. What has God done in your life during this fast that has increased your joy?

  2. How can you maintain joy even in difficult situations?

  3. What scripture reminds you of the joy of the Lord?

Guided Visualization:
Close your eyes and picture yourself standing under a waterfall of joy. Feel God’s presence washing over you, refreshing you with lasting peace.

Journal Prompt:

  • Write a declaration of joy over your life and future.

Declaration:
“My joy is full! Nothing will steal my joy because it comes from the Lord.”

Worship Suggestion:

  • Listen to "Joy" by Maverick City Music and "I will Sing" by Don Moen. Let the songs fill your heart with celebration.

Closing Prayer:
“Thank You, Lord, for filling my heart with joy. I step into this new season full of faith, hope, and gladness. Holy Spirit, let my joy be contagious to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Day 17: OH LORD ARISE, LET YOUR ENEMIES BE SCATTERED

Theme: Divine intervention and victory over opposition. Opening Prayer: “Lord, arise on my behalf and scatter every enemy that stands against Your will in my life. I take refuge in Your power and stand in faith, knowing that You fight for me. Holy Spirit, lead me into victory.” Devotional Thought: "Throughout Scripture, God arises to defend His people and scatter their enemies. Psalm 2 declares that the nations may rage, but God is sovereign. In 2 Chronicles 20, Jehoshaphat and Judah saw victory through worship. Daniel’s unwavering faith in the face of opposition led to God’s intervention. As we cry out today, trust that the Lord will arise and scatter everything that stands against His divine plan for your life. Victory is assured in Christ!" Scripture: Psalm 2 – The nations rage, but God reigns supreme. Daniel 3 – God delivers Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace. Daniel 4 – God humbles Nebuchadnezzar and restores him. 2 Chronicles 20:1-24 – Jehosha...

Help me to manifest Your promises in my life and to walk in the overflow of Your blessings. Holy Spirit, guide me and reveal what You desire to do in me.” Devotional Thought: "When we align our hearts with God’s purposes, we position ourselves to see His promises manifest and to experience overflow. Psalm 23 speaks of God’s provision and abundance, and Romans 8 reminds us that when we live by the Spirit, we walk in the fullness of life. Jesus invites us to live a life of overflow, where His blessings are not only for us but flow through us to others." Scripture: Psalm 23 – A psalm of God’s provision, guidance, and overflowing blessings. Ezekiel 47 – A vision of life-giving water flowing from the temple, symbolizing the Holy Spirit and God’s blessings. Luke 1:5-15 – The story of John the Baptist’...

Let Your favor rest upon me, and may the works of my hands bring glory to Your name.” Devotional Thought: "God desires to bless the works of our hands and prosper us in all that we do. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 outlines the blessings that come with obedience to God’s commands. When we commit our work to Him, we can trust that He will establish and bless it." Scripture: Numbers 17  – The budding of Aaron’s staff, symbolizing God’s chosen and blessed work. Psalm 39  – A prayer for God’s guidance and blessing. Psalm 102:13  – A declaration of God’s favor in the appointed time. Deuteronomy 28:1-14  – The blessings of obedience.
