Day 3: NOTHING WILL GO WRONG

Theme: Trusting in God’s unfailing protection and victory.

Opening Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength. As I reflect on Your Word today, remind me that nothing can harm me because You are with me. Holy Spirit, fill me with unwavering faith in Your protection and guidance.”

Devotional Thought:
"Life is full of uncertainties, but Nahum 1:9 reminds us that God’s power brings every evil plan to nothing. With God as our protector, we can walk confidently, knowing that nothing will go wrong. Psalm 91 assures us of His refuge, and Acts 12 shows us how God delivers His people from impossible situations. Trusting in Jesus means living with the peace that surpasses all understanding."

Scripture:

  • Nahum 1:9 – “Whatever they plot against the Lord he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time.”
  • Psalm 91 – A psalm of protection, assuring believers of God’s refuge, safety, and deliverance.
  • 1 Samuel 30:1-20 – David recovers everything after the Amalekites raid Ziklag, showing that with God, nothing is lost permanently.

  • Acts 28:1-6 – Paul survives a snakebite unharmed, showing God’s protection over his life.
  • Revelation 12 – A depiction of God’s ultimate victory over evil through Christ.

Activity:
Take a walk in a quiet place and declare over yourself, “Nothing will go wrong because God is my protector.” Visualize His angels surrounding you and His hand guiding your path. Spend a moment inviting the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with peace.

Reflection Prompt:

  1. How does trusting in God’s protection give you peace about your future and current circumstances?
  2. How has God shown His protection in your life before?
  3. What steps can you take to rely more fully on Jesus in uncertain situations?

Guided Visualization:
Close your eyes and picture a strong shield surrounding you on every side. Hear God’s voice assuring you, “I am with you; nothing will go wrong.” Imagine Jesus walking beside you and the Holy Spirit filling you with peace and confidence.

Journal Prompt:

  • Write about a moment when God protected you or brought you through a difficult situation. How can remembering this increase your faith in His protection today?

Declaration:
“Lord, nothing will go wrong because You are with me. I am surrounded by Your protection, and I trust in Your unfailing love. Holy Spirit, help me to live with confidence in Your care.”

Worship Suggestion:

  • Listen to "See a Victory" by Elevation Worship. Let the lyrics remind you of God’s power to turn every situation around for good.

Closing Prayer:
“Thank You, Lord, for being my refuge and strength. Help me to walk in faith, knowing that You are my protector. Holy Spirit, fill me with peace and assurance, and let me rest in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
